Fabric

i quite like the overall result of this piece i used a mechanical hb pencil and this allowed me to really add minute details and shading, i think perhaps i should have work a bit bigger with this piece but never the less im pleased with it, i finished the piece after 11 mins but i keptm working on it and adding to it until my time was up, im glad i did this rather than simply moving on because it gave me a chance to just see how far i couldgo before i overworked the piece.

Couch

A quick 10 minute observational drawing i did when i was early for class, i sat in the corridor and drew what was in front of me, i wopuld have liked to work more on this piece but other classmates arrived and invaded the scene meaning i couldnt see much of it anymore, i think the simplistic way i drew this is quite effective, i used really solid bold lines, i think this makes the piece really stand out

Museum

A work in progress, this is the national media musuem, i was unfortunatly unable to finish this because it started raining heavily and i had to abandon my vantage point, i d however plan on finishing this piece. i think the most successful part of this piece is the foliage, it's rough and sketchy but i think the contrast between the rough scratchy lines and the the solid straight lines of the building make this piece work quite well

College building

An observational drawing taken from behind my college building, spent approx 1.5 hours doing this but i belive i over worked it a little. i think the scruffy lines i used give a sort of character to the drawing, and i also think it is a good representation of the original scene. Althourgh observational drawing is not my strong suit i really quite like this piece.
